Loaded Coffee Smoothie

Loaded Coffee Smoothie


    • 1 banana, previously sliced and frozen
    • ½ cup (120 mL) strong brewed coffee, chilled
    • ½ cup (120 mL) milk (any variety)
    • ¼ cup (25 g) rolled oats
    • Optional: spoonful of nut butter
    • Optional: chocolate


    1. Freeze the banana and brew the coffee the night before.
    2. Peel the banana, slice it, and stick it in the freezer the night before.
    3. Brew the coffee the night before.
    4. Throw everything into a blender and blitz!
    5. Optional: throw in a spoonful of your favorite nut butter for a punch of protein and healthy fats, or sprinkle on some shaved chocolate for added decadence.
