Hot Buttered Lemonade

Hot Buttered Lemonade

3 cups water
3/4 cup lemon juice
2/3 cup sugar
1-1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel
1 tablespoon butter
4 cinnamon sticks, 4 inches Optional


In a saucepan over medium heat, cook and stir the water, lemon juice, sugar and lemon peel until sugar is dissolved. Pour into mugs; dot each with butter. Serve with a cinnamon stick if desired.

Prep Time: 10 minutes
Yield: 4 servings (about 1 cup each)
