Hot Chai Toddy


  • 1 bag black tea with chai spices
  • 8 oz. hot water
  • 1 tbsp. honey
  • 1 tbsp. fresh lemon juice
  • 2 oz. bourbon
  • Lemon wedge


  1. Pour the hot water over the tea in a heat-proof glass or mug.
  2. Add the honey and stir until completely dissolved.
  3. Allow to steep for 3 to 4 minutes, then discard the tea bag.
  4. Add lemon juice and bourbon and stir until combined.
  5. Garnish with the lemon wedge.

Yields:  1 cocktail
