Mulled Wine
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/2 cups boiling water
half a lemon, thinly sliced
1 1/2 cups boiling water

3 cinnamon sticks
3 whole cloves
1 bottle red dinner wine (burgundy or claret)

Directions:
- Dissolve sugar in boiling water in saucepan.
- Add remaining ingredients
- Pour into slow cooker. Heat on Low for at least 1 hour, until wine is hot. Do not boil.
- Serve from cooker into mugs.
Prep Time: 8-10 Minutes
Cooking Time: 1 Hour
Ideal Slow Cooker Size: 3-4 Quart
