Slow Cooker Strawberry Hot Chocolate

Slow Cooker Strawberry Hot Chocolate

 Ingredients:

    • 12 cups strawberry milk
    • 3 cups heavy cream
    • 1/2 cup sugar
    • 2 cups white chocolate chips
    • 3 cups frozen strawberries
    • marshmallows, additional white chocolate chips and a strawberry to garnish

Instructions:

    1. In a six quart slow cooker, whisk together strawberry milk, heavy cream and sugar.
    2. Stir in white chocolate chips.
    3. Heat on LOW for 6 hours, whisking hot chocolate every hour to ensure chocolate chips are melting into the hot chocolate instead of burning on the bottom of the slow cooker.
    4. Add strawberries to blender carafe along with 1 cup of hot chocolate mixture.  Blend until smooth and pour mixture back into slow cooker.  Whisk to combine.
    5. Fill mug with hot chocolate and garnish marshmallows, additional white chocolate chips and a strawberry.

Prep Time:  5 minutes
Cook time:  6 hours
