Peach Tea Syrup
Do you enjoy a cold glass of peach tea? Have you ever made peach syrup? It is easy to make. You simply need peaches, sugar and water and your MogoBox.com mug.
Ingredients:
- Eight peaches, peeled and chopped
- 1-1/2 cups water
- 1-1/2 cups granulated sugar
- If using the peach syrup to make a gallon of tea, use four family size tea bags with 4 cups of hot water and 10 cups cold water and all the peach syrup.
- 4 cups cold water to a rolling boil to make tea
- Pour over 4 family size tea bags
- Steep 5 to 10 minutes, remove tea bags
- Add 10 cups cold water and all the peach syrup (about 2 cups)
- Refrigerate
Directions:
- Wash peaches.
- Peel and chop the peaches.
- Add sugar, water, and diced peaches to a saucepan and stir.
- Bring to a rapid boil until all the sugar is dissolved.
- Turn burner off and let stand at least 30 minutes.
- Drain the syrup through a fine strainer into a container.
- Mash the peaches down into the strainer to get all the liquid out.
- Save the peaches to put over ice cream or pancakes.
- Drain the syrup through a fine strainer into a container.

- Chill peach syrup in the refrigerator.
- Add 3 to 4 tablespoons syrup per cup of tea (or more or less to taste).
- Makes enough peach syrup for one gallon of tea.
- Garnish with slices of fresh peaches.
