MogoBlog MogoLicious Tasty Tip of the Day:  Peeps are the most ubiquitous Easter candy of all time, but they can taste a little plain on their own so add a little chocolate to the marshmallow treat for a sweet cocktail.

My Sweet Peeps

 Ingredients for My Sweet Peeps:

    • 1 ounce white rum
    • 1 ounce OYO Honey Vanilla Bean Vodka
    • 1/2 ounce cinnamon/chili syrup (recipe below)
    • 1/4 cacao liqueur
    • 1 egg white
    • colored rock candy

 Ingredients for Cinnamon/Chili Syrup:

    • 4 red Fresno chilis
    • 4 cinnamon sticks crushed up
    • 1 cup sugar
    • 1 cup water

Instructions for My Sweet Peeps:

    1. Combine ingredients and shake for 20 seconds.
    2. Add ice and shake for another 20 seconds.
    3. Strain into a glass rimmed with crushed colored rock candy.
    4. Garnish with a chocolate-dipped Peep.

Instructions for Cinnamon/Chili Syrup

    1. High heat all ingredients until boiling, then change to low heat.
    2. Let sit and cool.
    3. Strain.
    4. Refrigerate.
