French Vanilla Eggnog

1 quart low-fat eggnog
1 Tbsp. Instant decaf French vanilla coffee granules
1/4 cup coffee-flavored liqueur

Low-Fat Whipping Cream, optional
Shaved chocolate, optional

Directions:

  1. Combine eggnog and coffee granules in slow cooker.
  2. Cover. Cook on Low 1-2 hours  until mixture is hot and coffee granules dissolve.
  3. Add coffee liqueur just before serving.
  4. Ladle into mugs.
  5. Top with a spoonful of low-fat whipping cream and a sprinkling of shaved chocolate, if desired.

Prep Time: 5 Minutes
Cook Time: 1-2 Hours
Ideal slow cooker size: 2 Quart
Yields: 8 Servings

Per Serving minus optional ingredients: 170 calories (40 calories from fat), 4.5g total fat (2.5g saturated, 0g trans), 50mg cholesterol, 85mg sodium, 24g total carbohydrate (0g fiber, 22g sugar), 6g protein, 4%DV vitamin A, 0%DV vitamin C, 15%DV calcium, 0%DV iron.
