Clean Eating Chocolate Mug Cake

MogoBlog MogoLicious Tasty Tip of the Day:  You’ll want to make this delicious dessert again and again! But be warned, you’ll need a large mug (a small or regular sized mug won’t get the job done.).

Clean Eating Chocolate Mug Cake


  • 3 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 6 tablespoons water
  • 2 tablespoons nut milk (or regular milk for non dairy)
  • 2 teaspoons smooth peanut butter
  • 2 teaspoons strawberry Jelly

Instructions (make in your MogoBox 15 oz. Classic White Mug):

  1. Whisk together the dry ingredients in your mug. Be sure they are well combined.
  2. Add the wet ingredients and mix well again.
  3. Microwave for up to 5 minutes on high. My microwave is older so if you have a newer one, you may only need 3-4 minutes.


  • The cake will rise up over the mug during cooking. Don’t panic. It sinks back down again. Promise!

Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 5 minutes
